Our commitments

What you can expect from our Paid Media team

With paid media, how the agency is paid shapes the advice. If the fee is a share of your spend, the agency earns more every time you raise the budget, and that bias sits behind every recommendation.

How we are paid
A fixed monthly fee. Your ad budget is paid directly to Google, Meta or LinkedIn and never passes through us or picks up a markup, so we gain nothing by telling you to spend more.
Whose accounts these are
They belong to you. We build inside your own ad accounts, so campaigns, audiences, conversion tracking and creative stay put if we part ways. There is no handover charge because nothing has to move.
What we are judged on
A cost per acquisition or ROAS target that we agree before starting and write into the agreement. Clicks and impressions help diagnose problems, but the fee is not measured against them.
How many channels you need
Only the ones where profitable buyers actually are, which may be fewer than you run now. We will recommend switching one off when it is not paying, and our fee stays the same either way.
What it costs
A management fee quoted in Canadian dollars, separate from your media budget, which you set and pay to the platforms yourself. How pricing works
Policy comes first

In some sectors the ad platforms set the rules before any money is spent

In several sectors the platform’s policies shape the campaign more than the bid strategy. Some targeting options are simply switched off, and planning around that is most of the work.

Policy-restricted

Approval steps, special categories or missing targeting options. The budget is seldom the limit in these accounts.

  • iGaming and gamblingRestricted

Google asks for gambling certification for each country or province you target, and Meta asks for written permission. In Ontario you also need to be registered with iGaming Ontario before any ad runs.

  • Health and medicalRestricted

Personalized-advertising rules stop you remarketing on health conditions. The visitors who read your treatment pages are the audience you cannot build a list from.

  • Real estateRestricted

Meta treats housing as a special ad category, so age, gender and postal-code targeting are taken away. Plenty of brokerage campaigns are still planned as if they were available.

Open and competitive

Anyone can bid, so the winners are decided by the offer, the creative and the landing page.

  • Home servicesOpen

Where Local Services Ads are offered, they sit at the very top and charge per lead. That changes the job your regular search campaigns are there to do.

  • HospitalityOpen

Online travel agencies bid on your hotel’s own name. Whether to outbid them on a given week is a judgment call that comes up again and again.

  • Managed IT and MSPOpen

Sales cycles run for months and a few genuine buyers arrive each month. Platform conversion counts are noise until signed contracts flow back from your CRM.

How it runs

Running within two weeks, judged at ninety days

Campaigns are rebuilt and live inside 14 days, matching the FAQ. The slower part is letting the bidding system gather clean data, and feeding your real sales back so it chases revenue instead of form submissions.

See each stage in detail
  1. Days 1–3Account reviewed, wasted spend listed
  2. Days 2–5Conversion tracking repaired
  3. Days 5–10Campaign structure rebuilt

  5. Weeks 3–6Automated bidding finds its footing
  6. Weeks 4–8New creative tested on a schedule
  7. Weeks 6–10Signed deals fed back to the platform

Measurement

Bad tracking makes every increase in budget riskier

Ad accounts most often stall because Google and Meta are chasing a number that does not reflect real sales. We rebuild tracking starting from the conversion itself, using server-side events, deduplicated purchases and offline imports from your CRM. Consent is handled to meet PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25. Once bidding is pointed at actual revenue and qualified leads, each extra dollar of budget has a much better chance of paying back.

  • Server-side GA4 with Consent Mode v2 for tracking that respects privacy law
  • Enhanced conversions and offline imports connect a click to the closed deal
  • Conversions counted once and valued properly, so ROAS bidding can be trusted
  • Figures reconciled against your CRM and payment processor
02Fresh ads are what keep a healthy account performing
Creative Pipeline

Fresh ads are what keep a healthy account performing

With tracking and account structure fixed, the ads themselves become the biggest thing left to improve. We run creative as an ongoing test program, introducing new hooks, angles and formats on a schedule, each with a stated reason for trying it. That way good concepts are found deliberately. Ads that have been running too long slowly drag down return, so we replace them before that happens.

  • A planned test grid of concepts, hooks and formats
  • New creative every week, ahead of audience fatigue
  • Winning messages reused on landing pages and organic posts
  • Static, video and creator-style versions sized for each platform
Weigh it first

Pay for traffic or earn it?

Ads switch off when the spending does. That can still be the right deal if the margin is healthy and you cannot wait half a year. These spell out the trade.

  • SEOPPC

Paid gets you seen this week. Organic builds slowly and lasts. Running both is common while one ramps up.

  • In-houseagency

A media buyer, a designer and an analyst on payroll, set against one team on a monthly fee.

FAQs

Before you sign

Short answers on cost, timing and how we work with your team.

How is paid media management priced?
You pay us a flat monthly management fee, and your ad spend goes straight to the platforms with no markup from us. That keeps our advice honest, since we earn nothing extra when you spend more. Most accounts start with a one-time review, then move to a retainer covering rebuilt campaigns, creative testing and weekly reporting. Both are priced to scope.
Which platforms do you manage?
Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display and Performance Max), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube and programmatic display. We will not push you into every platform. The mix depends on where profitable demand for your offer actually sits, and all of it reports into one dashboard.
How quickly can you improve an underperforming account?
Rebuilt campaigns with working conversion tracking and offline conversion import usually go live within a couple of weeks. Smart Bidding then needs a few weeks of clean data to settle, so the clearest gains in cost per lead tend to arrive over the first quarter. Cutting spend on search terms that never convert often pays off sooner.
How do you measure success beyond clicks and impressions?
We judge success by cost per acquisition, return on ad spend and, where your CRM allows it, revenue and pipeline through offline conversions. Clicks and impressions help diagnose problems, but they are not the goal. Each weekly video covers profit by channel and what we changed to improve it.
Can you handle franchise or multi-account setups?
Yes. We run multi-location and enterprise structures under one Google Ads manager account or Meta Business Manager, with reporting per location and shared negative keyword lists across franchisees. Budgets are set centrally so locations do not compete against each other.
What do we own at the end of the engagement?
The ad accounts, campaign structures, audience lists, tracking setup and creative are all yours. We build inside your accounts, never ours. If we stop working together, everything stays where it is with no handover fee and no platform lock-in.
How do you handle creative for paid ads?
Our media buyers set the creative direction and the test plan. We write copy and produce or coordinate visuals, testing new angles and formats every month. On social platforms the creative decides results, so a regular supply of fresh ads to fight fatigue is part of every retainer.
Do you guarantee a specific return on ad spend?
We agree a target cost per acquisition or ROAS with you before work starts and report against it every week. We cannot promise a figure before seeing your account history and market. What we can promise is that you will always know where you stand against the target and what we are doing about it.
How do paid media and SEO work together in the same program?
Ads put you on a keyword today while SEO builds rankings for the same term over time. Ad data also shows which keywords produce customers before you spend on content to rank for them. When we run both, one dashboard shows the combined cost per lead so budget can move to whichever is working.
What does your reporting include?
A live dashboard updated daily shows spend, conversions, cost per acquisition and ROAS by channel and campaign. Each week a media buyer records a short video on what changed, what is in test and what we did with the budget. Every month we compare results with the forecast and adjust the plan.
What industries do you have specific paid media playbooks for?
Legal, healthcare, real estate, financial services, SaaS, home services and online gaming within the iGaming Ontario regulated market. These sectors have strict ad policies, advertising standards such as Law Society or AGCO rules, or expensive auctions where a generalist wastes money fast. Our playbooks record the angles and copy that pass review and convert.
