Short answers on cost, timing and how we work with your team.
Do you fix the issues, or just tell us what is wrong?
We fix them. CreateITivity has developers as well as SEO specialists, so the crawl, speed, rendering and schema items in an audit get built by us. You will not just receive a list. Our web development team does that work. If you would prefer your own developers handle it, we write the tickets to their standards and review the code. We do not charge for a report and call the job done.
Your office is in Mississauga. Can you do local SEO for my city?
Yes. Where our office sits has nothing to do with it. What ranks in the map pack is your own Google Business Profile, your address, your reviews and your local pages. Our location is not a ranking factor for your business. What counts is how well we understand your market, whether you are in Halifax, Winnipeg or Kelowna, and we research it before we make any promises.
How is SEO priced?
In phases, each with a set deliverable: an audit, then the technical groundwork, then content and links. There is no open-ended hourly billing. Ongoing work is priced to scope, based on how much content you need, the link budget and how complex the site is. You approve each phase and can stop between them.
How long until SEO actually moves the needle?
The first improvements are usually technical: pages getting indexed, crawl errors cleared,
Core Web Vitals passing. Branded and long-tail terms tend to move next. Competitive commercial keywords take longest, and how long depends on your market and your starting authority. We put a realistic timeline in your plan at the start.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Google decides rankings, and anyone promising a position is guessing. What we commit to is the work itself, clear reporting and early signals you can verify, such as indexing, Core Web Vitals and qualified traffic. The targets we agree on are written down so you can hold us to them.
What do we own at the end of the engagement?
All of it: the content, the code changes, the schema and the links we earned. Nothing sits on a proprietary platform you lose when we part ways. Your data and your assets stay with you.
How do you split technical SEO from content work?
Technical work such as crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema and JavaScript rendering comes first and keeps running in the background, because content cannot rank on a broken site. Content and
link building ramp up once the base is sound. One plan covers both so they support each other.
What does your reporting look like?
Each week you get a short recorded video explaining what changed and why. A live dashboard tracks rankings, traffic and qualified conversions, and every month we review results against the forecast. You will not get a 40-page PDF. You get the numbers and the decisions behind them.
Will you work with our in-house team or existing agency?
Yes. We work alongside in-house SEO, development and content staff through Slack or Teams, a weekly check-in and a shared task board. If you have no internal team, we can run everything. The one arrangement we avoid is sharing an account with another supplier paid on the same targets.
How do you approach AI search visibility alongside traditional SEO?
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews draw on many of the same signals Google already rewards: expertise, structured data and passages that answer a question cleanly. We build that into every content and schema brief, so each page is written to rank in normal results and to be quoted in AI answers.
What industries do you have deep playbooks for?
Legal, healthcare, real estate, financial services, SaaS, hospitality, home services and regulated online gaming in Ontario. Each comes with its own rules, such as Law Society advertising guidance, health privacy expectations or AGCO standards, or a crowded link landscape that a generalist gets wrong. We document what works in each sector so we are not learning on your budget.
Is local SEO and national SEO the same engagement, or separate?
They share technical groundwork and then split. Local work centres on your Google Business Profile, map pack signals, reviews and city-level pages. National work builds topic authority and earns editorial links across Canada. A franchise with a national brand and local branches can run both from one plan.
How do you vet link quality, and will low-quality links put us at risk?
Links come from editorial outreach, digital PR and journalist requests. We never use private blog networks or paid link farms. Each site is checked for real traffic, relevance to your field and any history of penalties. If a link turns out to be risky after it goes live, we disavow it at no charge. Cleaning up damage from a previous agency is part of onboarding.
What are the contract terms?
There is no long lock-in. An initial three-month term covers the setup phase, and after that the agreement runs month to month. The targets we agree on are written into the contract, so you can measure us against them.
