The service

Our approach to
Technical SEO

Every other part of SEO sits on the technical base. Our developers review site structure, crawling, indexing, load times, Core Web Vitals, schema and JavaScript rendering, then fix whatever stops Google from ranking your pages. Because they write code, the fixes get built.

Common blockers

Where this kind of work usually gets stuck

Problems that show up again and again when we first look at an account. Our plan is built to deal with each one.

Googlebot stuck in the wrong rooms

Filter URLs, tracking parameters and pages nothing links to soak up the crawl. Your money pages wait in line. We fix the rules and the internal links so the bot spends its visits where revenue lives.

Slow on phones, slipping in rankings

Heavy images and scripts that block rendering push LCP and INP into the red on mobile. We work the page until real-user data from Canadian visitors comes back green.

Content that only appears after JavaScript runs

If Google renders a blank shell, there is nothing to rank. We find the gaps and close them with server rendering, prerendering or a better hydration plan.

Schema that is missing or throws errors

Broken markup means no rich results and a weaker read on who you are. We roll out one clean, validated graph across every template.

How we keep the work accountable

Before work starts, we agree on the number that matters most to you. Each sprint is planned against it. You get a short recorded update every week and a dashboard you can open any time, and the senior lead joins every call.

  • A senior lead runs your account from day one
  • A recorded walkthrough each week and a shared reporting dashboard
  • We work inside the tools and CMS your team already uses
  • Target ranges written into the agreement before we begin

Our Process

Four stages of Technical SEO

The same order every time: find the constraint, plan, deliver, then review. Here is what each stage involves.

01

Review and benchmark

We look at the technical health, content and link profile of your site in detail, record where you start, and rank the opportunities by likely payoff.

02

Plan the first 90 days

Topic clusters and keyword gaps go into a 90-day plan that separates quick wins from slower work that builds a lasting lead over competitors.

03

Do the work

Our developers fix crawl and speed problems, editors publish the content, and outreach earns links that pass our four screening checks. Progress shows in a dashboard you share with us.

04

Report and refine

A short video update each week, a business review each month and a plan reset each quarter keep the gains building.

01Point Google at the pages that pay the bills
Crawl & index

Point Google at the pages that pay the bills

Ask why a technically sound site is underperforming and the answer is usually crawling and indexing. Thousands of near-duplicate URLs, parameter loops and orphaned pages split attention and authority. We read your server logs to see where Googlebot actually goes, then tighten robots rules and canonicals, prune what should never have been indexed and rebuild internal links so strength flows toward product and service pages. Every later ranking gain sits on this layer, so we do it first.

  • Server-log and crawl-path review
  • Pruning, canonical tags and parameter rules
  • Internal links that carry authority to key pages
  • Orphaned and duplicate pages cleared out
02Get Core Web Vitals passing for real users
Performance

Get Core Web Vitals passing for real users

Google uses Core Web Vitals in ranking, and slow pages lose sales before anyone reads them. Mobile is where most sites fail, usually because of third-party tags, oversized images and elements that jump as the page loads. We rework the rendering path, the image pipeline and the tag load, then judge the result on field data from the Chrome UX Report, since a lab score can look fine while customers on a phone in Brampton or Kelowna wait. Our developers write the fixes themselves. Your team gets merged code instead of a backlog.

  • LCP, INP and CLS tuned against field data
  • Rendering path, images and code splitting
  • Tag manager and third-party script clean-up
  • Code changes delivered by our own developers
03Make every page readable and understandable to Google
Rendering & schema

Make every page readable and understandable to Google

Two problems hide well. Google may not render content your framework builds in the browser, and it may not know what a page represents even when it can read it. We test rendering template by template and pick the right fix for your stack, whether that is SSR, prerendering or a change in how hydration works. Then we add a validated structured-data graph covering Organization, BreadcrumbList, Product or Service and FAQ where it applies. With both in place, a page can be crawled, parsed and shown as a rich result.

  • Template-by-template render testing
  • SSR, prerender or hydration fixes
  • Validated schema graph on every template
  • Entity markup and rich-result eligibility

FAQs

Before you sign: common questions

Straight answers on scope, timing and how we report.

What problems does technical SEO work solve?
The ones that hold everything else back: crawl waste, pages indexed that should not be, Core Web Vitals failures, JavaScript Google cannot render and missing schema. We confirm each one with log files and field data before touching anything.
Will you hand us a report or make the changes?
We make the changes. CreateITivity has developers on staff, so crawl rules, performance work, rendering fixes and schema are written and shipped by us. Your developers review the work if they want to.
Our site is built in React or Angular. Can you help?
Yes. We check what Googlebot sees after rendering, then choose server-side rendering, prerendering or a hydration change based on your framework and hosting, so content built in the browser can be indexed.
When should we expect to see movement?
Crawl and index fixes often register within a few weeks as Google revisits the site. Speed and rendering improvements usually take one to three months to show, because field data is collected over a rolling window.
